More than 75 extra lights will be brought into the ENMAX Centre for the television broadcast, including 35 programmable lights set up over the ice surface, 15 for the backstage area, ten for the Kiss and Cry and six follow spotlights.

In addition to general venue operations, over 1,600 amps of power are required to power the TV broadcast, lightning and audio and event operations.

ENMAX Centre was built to host the 1975 Canada Winter Games, but underwent extensive renovations in 2012, including the construction of luxury suites and a restaurant/lounge overlooking the ice.
