Nam: 5 years-old

Nam: To disappear at will

Nam: A beet farm

Q: What is your dream vacation destination and why?
Nam: Honestly, my dream vacation is to just spend it in bed watching movies. Not a big fan of going to a destination

Q: What is your favourite thing about figure skating?
Nam: Performing for the audience and developing some sort of connection with them during my skate. I feel that it’s always special to share the “moment” with the people watching, because I think that it makes it more special. It also helps reduce the nerves too.

Q: How old were you when you first started figure skating?
Nicolas: 6 years-old

Q: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Nicolas: Pancakes (The one’s my aunt makes preferably)

Q: If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Nicolas: Flying, very useful in this sport and in Montreal traffic

Q: What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?
Nicolas: A car for my mom! Her car is literally the same age as me. Plus, she’s so nice she’d let me have the new one for myself!

Q: What is your dream vacation destination and why?
Nicolas: Either going back to California. (I went for 4 continents last year) I had a blast, but I wish I had more time there as I only stayed 2 extra days or Cabarete in Dominican Republic. I went there 3 years ago with my best friend and the kite surfing there is CRAZY. Awesome place and lot of fun.

Q: What is your favourite thing about figure skating?
Nicolas: Reaching the goals that I set myself. Learning and improving my own person to achieve those goals are a big thing for me nowadays.

Marjorie: The feeling of freedom and to be able to tell a story at the same time as doing impressive things. I love the artistic part of it.

Roman: Japan. It has a good balance of rural and urban areas. Good food. Nice landscapes. And I could take thousands of pictures.

Roman: Jumping. The satisfaction of landing a really good jump is dope.

Conrad: Ability to rotate 5 times in the air

Conrad: I would like to visit Tokyo because I heard from others that it’s a great place to go and experience a unique culture.

Q: What is your dream vacation destination and why?
Evelyn: My dream vacation would be Bora Bora because it’s a magical destination with insane sunsets, unreal scenery and a little escape from reality.
Trennt: 
Italy. I’ve always wanted to go to Italy, the culture, food, the way of life there looks amazing to me. I’d want to visit the touristy places but also go to the south and find one of those places that are hidden gems and stay there for a long time.

Q: What is your favourite thing about figure skating?
Evelyn: I would have to say my favourite thing about figure skating it the ability to tell a story through my body movement and expression. It’s so rare to learn a story through strictly movement compressed into four minutes, but that’s why figure skating is so unique.
Trennt:
 I love the feeling of skating around even without tricks, but I love being able to jump and spin, and skate with someone else. Skating has so many ways to enjoy it, so I think that’s my favourite thing about it.

Carolane: The fact that you can focus on emotions and create so much by connecting to the character or the feelings you want to show/interpret. You can create a whole new experience for you and the public.
Shane: I love the feeling of freedom I have and being able to dance with Carolane.

Q: What is your dream vacation destination and why?
Haley: Probably Bora Bora because it looks really cool! And then Norway to visit family and travel the coast, visiting all the pretty fjords.
Nikolas:
 I would love to do a motorcycle tour of Norway, because of my ancestry, and I’ve always planned to cruise the Aegean and see all the archaeological sites there. Getting some diving done in both places would also be on the itinerary. I’ve also always really wanted to dive on some of the Second World War wreck sites in the pacific with my father. All that aside though I really wouldn’t mind just perusing the Scottish isles and trying a bunch of scotch.

Q: What is your favourite thing about figure skating?
Haley: The performance aspect, being able to be inform of people- to make them smile.

 The blend of athleticism and artistry

Keegan: Any of Trennt Michaud’s cooking

Q: If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Keegan: Ice powers like Frozone from the Incredibles so I can make an ice path wherever and whenever I want.

Q: What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?
Keegan: I’d make and maintain a community cross-country ice patch and build a backcountry ice machine to make ice trails.

Q: What is your dream vacation destination and why?
Keegan: A two-week camping or canoe trip anywhere with my wife, but if you ask her it would be to go to Greece.

Keegan: The performance

Q: How old were you when you first started figure skating?
Aurora: 4 years-old

Q: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Aurora: Chicken. I would eat it all day, every day, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Q: If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Aurora: The ability to telepathically out people in my shoes so they can see that I am always right.

Q: What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?
Aurora: Cats. As many as possible.

Q: What is your dream vacation destination and why?
Aurora: Anywhere warm that has nice sandy beaches. The sand must be soft. This is very important. Top priority. I went to a beach in Mexico this year that had the worst sand. I couldn’t walk for the rest of the trip. Also, no sharks is a must. I would like to come back alive.

Q: What is your favourite thing about figure skating?
Aurora: I love the mixture between athleticism and the artistry. It is such a beautiful sport, but it is also very, very difficult.
