From grassroots to high performance, coaches play an integral part in the lives of skaters. Coaches are leaders, mentors and role models who instill positive thinking, teamwork, confidence and resilience in our young athletes.

Officials have a deep passion for figure skating, volunteering their time and expertise to help grow our sport as judges, referees, evaluators, technical specialists, technical controllers and data specialists.

Skate Canada is committed to:

  • Assist Clubs and Sections to recruit and retain officials
  • Recognize, acknowledge and reward overall contribution to sport

Calling all rising leaders!

The David Dore Mentorship Fund provides an opportunity for a leader in our community to further develop their leadership skills with the goal of enhancing Skate Canada’s leadership depth.  The recipient will participate in the 2020 Ice Summit in Ottawa and will have unique opportunities to interact with Skate Canada leaders.
